Warranty Details

General warranty

  • We offer a six months return-to-base warranty.
  • We offer a full refund (excluding original shipping charges) if a unit is returned to us, complete and in as-new condition, within 14 days of original shipment.
  • The warranty period starts the date the system is first shipped from us here in the UK.
  • We cannot warranty any units that have been modified in any way since they left us.
  • We cannot warranty any units operated with software not provided directly by us.

Repairs within warranty period

The following terms apply only if the fault is due to a problem with original components supplied by Wordcraft International Ltd.

Please see the "Repairs outside of warranty period" terms if you have dropped your unit, it is knocked off its tripod by a child/dog or it has been physically damaged in any other way.

  • The customer pays the cost of returning the unit to us.
  • We cover the cost of all repairs.
  • We cover the cost of return shipping.
  • All units are programmed, calibrated and tested before return shipment - they go through the same procedures as new units.
  • Turn round time for repairs is a maximum of 28 days.

Repairs outside of warranty period

  • The customer pays the cost of returning the unit to us.
  • The customer pays the cost of repairs. Current prices are available from our store (available on our full site).
  • The customer pays any return shipment costs at cost price.
  • All units are programmed, calibrated and tested before return shipment - they go through the same procedures as new units.
  • Turn round time for repairs is a maximum of 28 days.

Important notes

  • The above terms and conditions only apply to systems purchased directly from us in the UK. Please contact your dealer if you purchased outside the UK.
  • In this document "we" refers to Wordcraft International Ltd in the UK. More details about us and our contact information are available on our contact page.
  • Be sure to check our support pages and don't hesitate to contact us about any problems you have be having before acting on your warranty - the problem may well be solveable!
  • We do charge for any repairs required as a result of bad packaging when the unit is returned to us. See our returns procedure for more details on how to package your unit for return.
  • We will not accept any return item from outside the EU where the customs value indicates a value of greater then £25.00 GBP.
  • We do not currently offer a dealer discount on repair charges.
